Angelina Villanueva who stepped down as CMO of KFC Malaysia earlier this year has taken on a regional marketing role and will oversee the Malaysia and Singapore market and possibly other markets.
Angelina was awarded Malaysian CMO of the Year 2020 in January this year when she also won in the categories for Best Marketer in e-Commerce Marketing and Best Marketer in Data & Technology Marketing.
According to her LinkedIn, prior to KFC, Angelina comes from an agency background after starting a position in 1993 as account director for Ogilvy Singapore.
In 2011 she moved to Star Media Group and took on a senior role in the group’s Marketing and Corporate Communications department before moving to KFC as Chief Marketing Officer in 2015.
