Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Comes To PC On 16 December

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake has been a PlayStation exclusive for a year. It’s even gotten its Intergrade version release in June. But back in January, rumour had it that it would be coming to PC. Now, following the announcement at The Game Awards, the rumours have proven to be true.

The announcement also came with a new trailer, which doesn’t exactly show anything new. It shows a short montage of gameplay from the base game and the Intergrade upgrade. The trailer then ends with the 16 December release date. Though it did open with the Epic Games Store stamp, indicating that it will be exclusive to it.

Funnily enough, the trailer ends with a scene from Intergrade showing Yuffie screaming immediately after her line “this is just wrong”. And judging from the comments on the YouTube trailer, that’s pretty much the reaction of fans who were waiting for the game to be available on Steam instead.

Final Fantasy VII Remake first released all the way back in April of 2020.  It’s been exclusive to the PlayStation platform for slightly over a year-and-a-half, and less than half a year for the Intergrade version. But now that it’s on PC,  it’s unclear if this Epic Games Store exclusivity is another timed deal, or if it’s never making its way to Steam.
