HONOR Magic Vs Foldable Phone Is Finally In Malaysia For RM5,999

After almost five months since it was first revealed to the world, the HONOR Magic Vs has finally received its Malaysian launch. Unveiled alongside the new Magic5 Pro and Magic5, it is the first HONOR foldable device in our market even though it is not the first such release from the company.

One of the improvements that the HONOR Magic Vs offers over its competitor is a much sleeker physique. This is because this particular model is much lighter and thinner than its predecessor.

Being a newer model, it is just natural for the Magic Vs to carry a much more updated processor than its predecessor in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 alongside 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. The processor provides an improved performance although HONOR aficionados who are looking into having the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, have to consider the non-foldable Magic5 Pro or Magic5 instead.

As for its display, the Magic Vs outer display has been equipped with a 6.45-inch OLED panel that has a 120Hz refresh rate and 2560 x 1080 resolution. Once the phone is unfolded, you then have access to the 7.9-inch 90Hz OLED display with a native resolution of 2272 x 1984.

On its back, HONOR has equipped the Magic Vs with a tri-camera module which features a 54MP primary camera alongside another 50MP setup that acts as both ultra-wide and macro cameras. The module also comes with an 8MP telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom as well as 30x digital zoom capability.

For selfies, it is handled by a 16MP camera and the phone also comes with a 5000mAh battery which completes its general hardware specification. Similar to the Magic5 Pro and Magic5, the Magic Vs also supports the 66W HONOR SuperCharge charger.

Available for pre-order immediately at HONOR Malaysia’s official website, the Magic Vs can be obtained in Malaysia for RM5,999. Pre-order customers will be provided with a Nescafe Genio S Touch coffee machine and aramid phone case when they received their new foldable from HONOR starting from 28 April onwards.

On top of that, they will also receive a 1-year extended warranty and a 180-day screen crack protection program for both of its displays. To last until 13 April, this pre-order program is also available at HONOR Experience Store, Senheng, and SenQ as well as the brand’s official stores at Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
