NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Image Leaks; Specifications Also Confirmed
An image of NVIDIA’s next flagship, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition, has finally been leaked, giving us the first glimpse of the card in all its glory. Not only that, the image, which was posted on the leakster site, Videocardz, was also accompanied by what the site claims to be its official specification.
As far as looks go, the RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition sports the same Dual Axial Flow Through design that NVIDIA has been using since it was first introduced back with the first RTX 30 series cards. Like its non-Ti sibling, the card’s size still takes up three slots on the motherboard.
Spec-wise, the RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition will have a base and boost clock of 1560MHz and 1860MHz, respectively, along with a total of 24GB GDDR6X graphics memory running at a frequency of 21Gbps, and 10752 CUDA cores. In addition, the card also gets the same 384-bit memory bus as the RTX 3090.
Where the RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition’s requirements differs from the original card is its power consumption. Specifically, the card will require 450W of power – 100W more than the RTX 3090 – and will be powered by a 16-pin microfit MOLEX cable that NVIDIA is probably going to provide, along with the card.
The only thing missing from this list is the official retail pricing of the card when it goes on sale. Needless to say, though, it’s going to cost gamers a handsome sum just to own, and that’s before you factor in the mark-up retailers are going to impose on the product.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition is expected to be officially announced during the company’s CES 2022 special livestream tomorrow.
