PICO Announces Fit For Feast Promo; Slashes Neo 3 Link Price To RM1099

ByteDance subsidiary PICO XR has a little bit of history in the VR headset market, but it only started having an official footprint in the country late last year, when it launched the PICO 4. Now, the company is announcing its Fot for Feast promo, to coincide with the end of the Lunar New Year celebrations.

As a part of the promo, the company says that every purchase of the PICO Neo 3 Link and PICO 4 VR headsets will be entitled to a few free games getting thrown in. Up on offer include games like All-In-One Sports VR, After the Fall, Cities VR, Arizona Sunshine, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Oh Shape. These six games are worth a total of RM755, according to the company.

As the name implies, the PICO 4 which we reviewed is the newer model of the two. But to incentivise potential customers to make a purchase, the company is reducing the price of the Neo 3 Link VR headset. It had a price of RM1599, but now the company is reducing it to RM1099.

If you’re wondering what’s the difference between the two headsets, the PICO 4 is practically fully wireless, while the Neo 3 Link supports DisplayPort connectivity to a PC. While this may make the older model look like the better deal, the newer one does sport an improved display tech that makes the visor component smaller and lighter, making for a more comfortable user experience.

But back to the Fit for Feast promo. PICO XR says that this promo will last until 23 February 2023. These deals will be available via the brand’s flagship store in Sunway Pyramid or online via the TikTok Shop, or the official PICO online store on Lazada and Shopee. Though it’s worth noting that for the latter two, the price cut for the Neo 3 Link is not yet reflected in those listings at the time of writing.
