Malaysia’s 1st virtual wellness and healthy living fair is happening on the 24 to 26 July, 2020 at www.mywellfair.com. Officially known as #mywellfair, the virtual event is organised by Engage Media Sdn Bhd with the collaboration of Alpro Pharmacy (Alpro) as the official wellness partner and Nu Ideaktiv (NI) as the official media partner.
A fully web-based 360 3D walkthrough virtual experience, the virtual fair is designed to engage with participants through three main elements: a 3D virtual exhibition; live webinars and workshops and e-commerce with exclusive deals and flash sales. For an added interactive experience, there will be activities such as a virtual treasure hunt and multiple lucky draw sessions.
#mywellfair is partnering with multiple wellness brands in health supplements, healthy food and drinks and personal care. These brands include Blackmores, Ecolite, Omron, Sensodyne, Pristin and even wellness professionals such as healthy lifestyle advocates and fitness enthusiasts who will be onboard for three days sharing their knowledge, tips and experience.
As the official media partner, NI will be promoting #mywellfair through its digital platforms and television segments, as well as its leading health and lifestyle magazines such as Mingguan Wanita, Pa & Ma, and Keluarga that have a potential reach of over 4 million audience. With over 40 years of experience in content creation, Nu Ideaktiv sees this partnership as a collaborative effort to support and engage in conceptualizing more 3D virtual based fairs. The virtual event also has a Spotlight section featuring “real people, real stories” on their journey and their take on a healthy lifestyle. According to the organisers of the virtual event, the aim of #mywellfair Spotlight is for audiences to find relatable examples through the Spotlight stories and feel inspired to make a change in their lives.
Multiple award-winning Malaysian author Mohana Gill, will also be part of #mywellfair. Mohana has won various awards for her books on cooking, food and nutrition and her book “Hayley’s Fantastic Fruits” has been selected for inclusion in the IBBY Honour List 2020.
#mywellfair is also supporting local entrepreneurs such as Bathscapes and NGOs such as Free Tree Society.
“We have also the Heroes At Home series of mini workshops conducted by social entrepreneurs and impact builders on topic regarding our physical and mental well-being,” the organisers stated in a press release issued regarding the fair. “Portion of the proceeds will be channeled to support various social missions.”
