Toshiba X9900L 4K OLED TV Launches In Malaysia; Retailing For RM 13,999
Toshiba has introduced a new addition to its TV line-up in Malaysia with the all-new Toshiba X9900L. It is touted as the brand’s first ever 65-inch 4K OLED smart TV, featuring its REGZA Engine OLED core processor and AI engine, fast refresh rate, high-fidelity sounds, and more.
The new Toshiba X9900L sports a massive 65-inch OLED panel with super-slim bezels and a thin side profile; measuring in at a width of 1452 mm wide, height at 868 mm, and depth at 336 mm. Its screen has a resolution of 4K Ultra HD (3,840 x 2,160 px), with self-luminous pixels, wide viewing angles, 120 Hz refresh rate, and low blue light and flicker free output. For visual enhancements, its onboard REGZA Engine OLED chip enables AI-powered colour optimisation and auto low latency, as well as providing support for HDR 10+, AMD FreeSync Premium, and IMAX Enhanced to ensure seamless and immersive visuals while watching movies or gaming.
In the sound department, the X9900L offers theatre-like audio quality through its 113 W 8-way speakers and 25 W BAZOOKA bass woofer. These are further enhanced by the onboard REGZA Power Audio Extreme feature, combined with Tru Bass Processor, Tru Screen Sound and REGZA 3.1.2 surround for true-to-life dynamic sounds with rich and satisfying bass. Furthermore, the TV also comes packed with other optimisations that are DTS HD, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certified.
Being a smart TV, the X9900L runs on Toshiba’s VIDAA OS, which supports Apple Airplay and Apple Home. The former enables you to stream movies, music, games and photos to the TV’s screen directly from your iPhone, iPad or Mac, while the latter allows you to control it remotely via the aforementioned devices, as well as through your Apple Watch, and HomePod mini. In addition, the TV also comes with several streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV, YouTube and more pre-installed so you can easily access content right off the bat.
The X9900L 4K OLED TV is set to retail in Malaysia for RM 13,999 via authorised Toshiba retail stores nationwide and official e-stores. However, especially in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebration, the brand is currently offering the TV at a special early bird price of RM 11,049 via its official online stores on Shopee and Lazada until 30 April 2023.
Alternatively, interested buyers may also opt to purchase it through Harvey Norman, which is offering the X9900L at an even attractive price of RM 9,199 until 30 April. In addition, Toshiba says those pre-ordering the TV through the retailer are also entitled to receive complimentary Touch ‘n Go e-Voucher worth RM 700 throughout the promotion while stocks last.
