Unifi Fibre Currently Having Issues Connecting To International Links (Updated)

Unifi Store

Unifi is currently experiencing connectivity issues with international link. According to one post on Twitter, the internet provider has been experiencing an outage since 4:55PM today, and at the time of writing, the issue still remains unresolved.

At the same time, consumers who are airing their complaints over the social media platform have also been engaging the official Unifi account, help me unifi (@helpmeunifi). As you can expect, the answers the account has been providing are the boilerplate “can we take this offline?” and “can we take this over to DM?” responses.

To be clear, the Unifi International connectivity issues seems to currently be limited to consumers using its fibre services, while its mobile services seem unaffected.

Update (23 May 2023, 8:29PM): Amidst the chaos, Unifi is asking its affected fibre customers to complete a checklist on its EasyFix page, and see if that solves the issue. Further, according to SoyaCincau, it appears that the issue had something to do with international upstream. In any case, TM is saying that the problem is resolved and that it should be back to normal for the majority of users.

This is a developing story…
