Xbox PC Game Pass Is Officially Coming To Malaysia: Could Cost RM15 Per Month

Microsoft has announced that it will launch the Xbox PC Game Pass in Malaysia as part of the service’s expansion in Southeast Asia which also includes Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

According to the company, Malaysian gamers are already to preview the service by signing up as an Xbox Insider. This can be done by using the dedicated Xbox Insider app than can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Once you install the app and pressed Join to participate in the Xbox Insider program, press the Preview option on the menu located on the left side of the app. Then scroll down to locate and tap on the PC Game Pass Southeast Asia Expansion option.

Click Join and then the Xbox app will load up automatically to bring you to the PC Game Pass sign up page. If you received an error that says Microsoft Game Pass is not available for your region, look for Minecraft for Windows + Launcher with the Game Pass label on it, press the green Play With Game Pass button, and the PC Game Pass sign up page with pricing in Ringgit Malaysia should then appear.

Microsoft will be announcing further details regarding the PC Game Pass for Malaysia including the actual pricing later this year although the exact timeline was not revealed by the company. However, we noticed that there is a subscription fee of RM15 per month when signing up for the service but that being said, it only costs 50 sen to try the service for the first month.

Originally launched in 2019, PC Game Pass allows gamers to access more than 100 PC games with just one monthly fee. On top of that, the subscription service also includes access to the EA Play service which provides additional titles from EA although you do need to install the EA app in order to play them.
