Xiaomi 13T Pro Leaks; Possibly Running On Dimensity 9200
It seems that there might be another device in the Xiaomi 13 series as a phone dubbed 13T Pro was spotted in the IMEI database. First sighted by Xiaomiui, the database reveals that it might also be known as the Redmi K60 Ultra in China.
In the database, the model numbers 23078PND5G and 23078RKD5C are used for the 13T Pro and the Redmi K60 Ultra, respectively. Some speculate that the “2307” part of the model numbers potentially suggests a launch date in July of this year, but of course, nothing has been confirmed by the company yet.
According to rumours, both devices could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, replacing the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm in the 12T Pro. The Redmi K60 series was unveiled just last December with the K60 Pro being expected to be rebranded as the POCO F5 Pro for the global market.
If the Redmi K60 Ultra debuts first in the Chinese market, it wouldn’t be surprising if Xiaomi rebadged it as the 13T Pro for the international release soon afterwards. Given how the 12T Pro only came to Malaysia in October, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to assume a similar timeline for the new model.
On a related note, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be releasing the Xiaomi 13 Ultra globally later this month, joining the rest of the lineup after being notably missing during the 13 series’ unveiling. Not much is known about its design other than alleged leaks, but with the partnership with Leica, it will undoubtedly be at the forefront of mobile photography.
One thing that Malaysian consumers can already look forward to is the local launch of the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which has been spotted in the SIRIM database. With the certification, there is a strong possibility that the phone will be coming here in the near future.
