15 men loot RM70,000 worth of computer hardware in break-in

KAJANG: Some 15 men broke into a computer hardware shop at Bandar Damai Perdana, Cheras, and took RM70,000 worth of loot.

The video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said a security guard had lodged a report on Saturday (March 26), claiming a group of 15 men had attacked him and subsequently broke into the shop.

“They carted away RM70,000 worth of computer hardware.

“The suspects were in a gray Nissan Navara, a white Toyota Hiace, a white Perodua Alza and a white Proton Exora,” he said when contacted on Monday (March 28).

The guard’s vehicle was also damaged when he attempted to block the suspects’ escape, he added.

“The guard did not sustain any injury.

“We are in the midst of tracking down the suspects,” he said.

ACP Mohd Zaid said police are investigating the case under Section 395/397 for gang robbery.
