Covid-19 Watch: 32 students and lecturers at Kuala Pilah college test positive

KUALA PILAH: Thirty-two students and lecturers at the Kuala Pilah Matriculation College have tested positive for Covid-19, says district security and disaster management chairman Mohd Faizal Abdul Manap.

He said the students and lecturers were sent to the Tampin Quarantine and Treatment Centre after their health status was detected on Thursday (Dec 2).

“The college has also been closed and we are not allowing anyone to enter or leave the premises,” he said on Friday (Dec 3).

He said a total of 523 students and lecturers have undergone testing since Nov 18, and 105 individuals who were close contacts of those who tested positive have also been quarantined at the college for the time being.
