Dr Wee congratulates JDT on FA Cup win

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong congratulates the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football team for winning the Malaysia FA Cup 2022.

“Congratulations to the JDT team for winning the FA Cup in the finals against Terengganu FC with a 3-1 win at the vBukit Jalil national stadium,” the Transport Minister said in a Facebook Sunday (Sept 11).

Dr Wee also congratulated the Terengganu FC team for giving good competition and doing well in the match.

On Saturday (Sept 10) night, Johor state secretary Tan Sri Dr Azmi Rohani announced that Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has decreed that Sunday (Sept 11) is a special holiday for Johor to celebrate the victory.

He said the special holiday was to celebrate and show appreciation to all JDT fans who had given their fullest support to the team to make the state proud.
