Floods: Power supply restored to several areas in Terengganu

KUALA TERENGGANU: Electricity supply in several areas affected by the floods in five districts in Terengganu has been restored as at 1am Wednesday (Dec 21).

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Careline said in a statement on its Facebook page that the districts were Kuala Terengganu, Setiu, Kuala Berang and Besut, as well as Bandar Al-Muktafi Billah Shah in Dungun.

“However, power supply had to be cut in more areas in Dungun due to heavy rain and flooding.

“Efforts are being made to ensure power supply in the affected areas would be restored in stages depending on local conditions,” it said. – Bernama
