GE15: Incumbent Kuala Nerus MP says young voters reject politics of hatred

KUALA NERUS: Young voters reject the politics of hate that is part of certain political parties’ campaigns in the 15th General Election (GE15), says Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali.

The incumbent Kuala Nerus MP said that the young also disagreed with provocations that will cause disunity among the people.

“People are smart now. They read social media including Facebook and TikTok, they want unity. This is what young people want.

“Enough of playing politics. They want a strong, stable and prosperous country for their children and grandchildren.

“The age of conflict has passed; whoever brings this idea will be left behind,” he said to the media after meeting with the party machinery at Taman Gong Badak on Tuesday night (Nov 8).

He cited the personal attacks on state Umno liaison chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said, where there was a poster with Ahmad Said’s photo with unpleasant words and aspersion written on it that has caused dissatisfaction among Barisan members.

He added that Barisan remains consistent in bringing the idea of uniting the people.
