Johor polls: Perikatan Nasional launches its state election manifesto

JOHOR BARU: Perikatan Nasional has launched its state election manifesto, dubbed “Pledge for Bangsa Johor”, which has eight main pillars, driven by 24 strategies and based on 144 approaches.

Chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the pledge offered by Perikatan was not mere rhetoric as it is a realistic and practical commitment that the state government that will be formed would be a government that is clean, efficient and caring for the people.

“To ensure that the offer by Perikatan is fulfilled, a special implementation monitoring committee composed of Johoreans from the professional and experienced group will be established.” said Muhyiddin.

“This is to ensure that the pledge made for the people of the state of Johor will be realised through a persistent and transparent effort,” he added.

Muhyiddin said this in his speech during the launching of Perikatan’s manifesto at a hotel here on Wednesday (March 2).
