KL cops looking for group involved in brawl near Bukit Bintang Monorail

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a group of individuals involved in a brawl near the Bukit Bintang Monorail station here.

A video of the incident has been circulated on social media.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya said police detected the video on Monday (Jan 10).

“The 22-second video shows a big group of people fighting there.

“The Dang Wangi CID are now working to track down all those involved in the incident,” he said in a statement on Tuesday (Jan 11).

He also urged anyone with information on the incident to come forward immediately to assist investigations.

“I want to sternly warn the public against taking part in any illegal activities.

“We will not hesitate to take stern action against anyone caught breaking the law.

“Those with information on criminal activities can contact the Dang Wangi police headquarters at 03-2600 2222 or the City police hotline at 03-2115 9999,” he said.
