Perak state-level CNY open house to be held in Tambun on Jan 29

IPOH: The Perak state-level Chinese New Year open house will be held in Tambun on Jan 29.

Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming (pic) said the celebration will be held at the Lost World of Tambun at 3pm.

Nga said Perak’s Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad are expected to attend the event.

“We expect a crowd of about 50,000 people to come.

“We hope everyone can join us in the celebration,” he said during his walkabout at the Pasir Pinji wet market on Saturday (Jan 14).
