Remand extended for Subang Jaya murder suspects

SUBANG JAYA: The remand for two Indian nationals implicated in the murder of their countrymen has been extended.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the remand orders for the suspect and wife of the murdered victim have now been extended to Feb 17.

They were originally set to end on Saturday (Feb 11).

The remaining three suspects have been granted bail.

On Feb 2, a man admitted to the murder of a 25-year-old Indian national. The victim was the husband of the woman he had an affair with.

The man is believed to have been murdered in May last year and buried behind an old folks home in Subang Jaya.

Follow up investigations led to the arrest of three women. All were found to have been working in the same old folks home.
