Situation at Seri Kembangan landslide stable, says Fire and Rescue Department

SERDANG: The situation at an area affected by a landslide in Lestari Perdana, Seri Kembangan is stable, says the Fire and Rescue department.

“The situation is under control and the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) and Land Office have taken action. Police and firefighters are standing by,” Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said when contacted on Wednesday (Jan 26).

On Tuesday (Jan 25), five vehicles parked on Jalan LP1A/2 Lestari Perdana, Serdang, Selangor were damaged after a landslide in the area on Tuesday (Jan 25) evening.

Following this, workers at 17 commercial premises were evacuated after a MBSJ assessment of the area.
