Toddler runs up busy street before being saved by motorist

IPOH: A dashcam recorded a heart stopping moment when a toddler ran through the middle of busy traffic on the Changkat Jering-Taiping road.

The incident occurred at about 10.50am on Wednesday (May 11).

The owner of the vehicle with the dashcam was seen stopping their car in the middle of the road to block the path of other vehicles.

In the one-minute eight-second video, the child is seen running towards the road shoulder before a man catches up after dashing across the road to rescue the toddler.

Attempts are being made to get comments from the Taiping police on the matter.
