Trailer from Jalan Duta-Sungai Buloh Highway overturns at NSE entrance

KUALA LUMPUR: A trailer overturned just before entering the North-South Expressway (NSE) as it was coming from the Jalan Duta-Sungai Buloh Highway at 10.20am here on Thursday (May 19).

A container, which was attached to the trailer, detached itself in the accident, landing just above the motorcycle tunnel while the front of the vehicle turned over on its side just inches away from a flyover pillar.

It appears that the trailer had skidded while making a turn into the NSE.

Police and emergency services arrived at the scene promptly in response to the accident.

It is unclear if the driver sustained any injuries.

At present, vehicles coming from the Jalan Duta-Sungai Buloh Highway trying to enter the NSE are being redirected to the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) heading towards Jalan Duta and Jalan Kuching.
